Fix A Frozen Or Bricked Nexus

If you own an Android device, chances are you’ve tried to install different mods and tweaks on it. There’s also the chance that, when installing these customizations, a device will brick.

There are two types of device bricking, soft brick and hard brick. In a soft brick, your device should still be responsive, but you won’t see anything. In a hard brick, your device will not respond at all.

If you have a Samsung device, it is easy to get out of a Soft Brick. All you have to do is go back to an official ROM. First, your download Один and the proper firmware file. You then flash the firmware file using Odin.

For some devices, however, it is more difficult to find official Firmware files. One of this is the Nexus 7 or Nexus 5. As such, getting them out of a soft brick can be more difficult but not impossible. In this guide, we are going to show you how to do so.

Unbrick Nexus:

Download the Official Firmware that suits your particular Nexus device, then extract it.

The necessary bootloader and firmware files should begin to flash. Just wait for it to finish.
When the process finishes, you should find yourself in Fastboot mode.
Using the volume buttons to navigate, choose Recovery.
From Recovery, do a Factory Reset
Wipe Cache and Devlik Cache too.
Reboot device and you should find that your device working again.
